Planifica (“Planifica,” “we,” or “us”) provides a real-time project planning workspace. This Privacy Policy applies to our website, applications, and related services (together, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Our lawful basis for processing your personal data is performance of our contract with you (to provide the Services), legitimate interest (security and fraud prevention), and, where applicable, your consent.

- Account details — your name, email address, and the authentication provider (Google or GitHub) you sign in with.
- Workspace content — projects, tasks, comments, timelines, and files you create or upload.
- Billing information — handled by our payment processor; we store only a token and the last four digits of your card.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — pages viewed, features used, and actions taken, to understand how the Services are used.
- Device & log data — IP address, browser type, and timestamps, kept for security and diagnostics.
03 How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including real-time collaboration features.
- Authenticate you and keep your account and workspace secure.
- Send transactional messages such as invitations, security alerts, and product updates you've opted into.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or unauthorized activity.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your workspace content to train third-party models.
05 Data retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services. When you delete your workspace, we remove the associated content within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or accounting purposes. You may request early deletion at any time by contacting us.
06 Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, scoped access controls, and continuous monitoring. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work hard to keep the gap small and to notify you promptly of any incident that affects you.
07 Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal information, and to object to certain processing. If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. You can manage most details from your account settings, or contact us to make a request. We respond within 30 days or the timeframe required by applicable law.
08 International transfers
Planifica operates globally. Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision to protect it in line with this policy.
09 Children's privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email at least 30 days before changes take effect.
